Weather New Zealand

The best time to travel is from September until April. Mind you  book your ticket as early as possible, because this is a popular time to go to New Zealand! The climate on the northern island is subtropical, while the southern island has an tempered climate. The wind mainly blows from the West, which makes the west coast of New Zealand suitable for surfing. Here you can find a beautiful temperate rainforest as well, which make it a must to visit the west coast. Below you can find a table on which you can find the temperatures during the different season. And if you look further down, you can find a weather forecast of New Zealand, updated daily. This way you can check what kind of weather you will encounter, when you first step out of that plane! So only in the winter you should bring some warm clothing and in the other seasons it'll suffice to bring somewhat less warm clothes, especially if you're going to the north island, where you find a subtropical climate. However, a pull-over is always handy!
